Fees
One platform fee, at most 5 bps (0.05%) of what your account actually trades. Higher-turnover algos pay a lower rate. No subscription, no performance fee.
What you pay.
Section titled “What you pay.”The rate depends on the algo’s turnover T: its average daily traded notional divided by its capital, so T = 1 means the algo trades its capital once a day. Opening and closing both count.
Fee per fill = 5 / T bps, never above 5 bps and never below 0.1 bps. Up to T = 1 the fee is 5 bps. From there to T = 50 the fee falls as turnover rises, so the fee per day stays at 5 bps of capital. At T = 50 the fee reaches the 0.1 bps minimum.
| Turnover T (per day) | Fee per fill | Fee per day, as a share of capital |
|---|---|---|
| 0.5 | 5 bps | 2.5 bps |
| 1 | 5 bps | 5 bps |
| 2 | 2.5 bps | 5 bps |
| 10 | 0.5 bps | 5 bps |
| 50 | 0.1 bps | 5 bps |
| 100 | 0.1 bps | 10 bps |
T is measured on the algo’s published targets, so no wallet can change another’s rate: your size, leverage and follower count do not move it. Recent activity counts more than old activity.
Your algos net first, and the fee is charged on the actual fills. Rates round down to the venue’s fee unit: 0.1 bps on Hyperliquid, 0.01 bps on Lighter. Joined through a referral link? You pay 10% less (4.5 bps at most). Exchange fees and slippage are separate.
Backtests, evaluations and paper track records charge this platform fee plus each venue’s standard base-tier fees (Hyperliquid: 1.5 bps maker, 4.5 bps taker; Lighter standard accounts: none), all as a fraction of notional, so a backtest’s result does not depend on its capital. Referral discounts apply only to wallets.
The exchange collects it.
Section titled “The exchange collects it.”PnL never takes money from your account. The exchange takes the fee at each trade, using the fee approval you signed at setup. That approval remains capped at 5 bps, even when your current rate is lower. If that approval lapses, your algos can reduce positions but not add to them.
Who receives it.
Section titled “Who receives it.”- Your referrer10%, 20% or 30% of the fee, if someone referred you.
- Algo buildersUp to half the rest, shared by the algos that have recently made you money.
- PnLKeeps the remainder.
An algo that’s losing you money earns its builder nothing from your fees. If you hold your own algo, its share comes back to you.
Getting paid.
Section titled “Getting paid.”For algo builders and referrers. Your earnings build up per exchange; claim them from the Referral or Performance page.
Claims pay your whole balance in USDC, to the wallet that earned it, on the same exchange. One claim per exchange at a time, at most one an hour. A failed claim leaves the balance in place to try again.
