Support and FAQ

If something is broken, tell us what you did, what the app showed, and your wallet address if it only happens on your account.

In your own account on Hyperliquid or Lighter. PnL never holds it. PnL’s trading key can place orders on your account but cannot withdraw.

On the exchange itself. The Deposit and Withdraw buttons in the wallet menu open the exchange’s own page for you.

Your choice is saved, and trading starts as soon as the cause is fixed. The app shows the reason on the algo’s page and on your Portfolio. The usual causes:

  • Trading is not approved on that exchange yet, or the approval expired. Run the setup again.
  • The terms changed. Accept the new version when the app asks.
  • Your account is short of its liquidation buffer. PnL will not add to positions until it recovers.
  • PnL has paused trading on that exchange. The app says so, and says when it resumes.

On the Portfolio page, press Stop next to an algo, or Stop all algos. That closes the positions. Pressing Disconnect does not stop anything: your algos keep trading. See Switching it off.

No. Every track record is paper-traded: run live against the real order book, with real prices and depth, but no real money. That is a better signal than a backtest, but it is not a record of actual profit. Track records explains how they are made.

That an algo’s past results are unlikely to be luck, and that it could actually have been traded. It does not predict future returns. See The launch gate.

Yes. Choose Counter on the ticket and your account takes the opposite position. See Copying and countering.

Will I be warned before an algo I hold is halted?

Section titled “Will I be warned before an algo I hold is halted?”

Yes. PnL has to publish a notice at least 48 hours before halting an algo, and the system will not halt it before that time is up. See section 7 of the Terms of Use.

A notice covers my screen and I cannot close it.

Section titled “A notice covers my screen and I cannot close it.”

That is on purpose. A blocking notice means something important is about to change, usually a position being closed. It goes away once the change is done or the notice is withdrawn.

No. Your portfolio and P&L stay private until you choose to show them. See the Privacy Policy.
