Building with the agent
The builder is where you make an algo. You describe what you want to trade, and an AI agent writes the code, tests it on past market data and tells you how it did.
Start a strategy.
Section titled “Start a strategy.”Open Launch in the app. Press Start from scratch, or pick one of the templates to begin from a proven structure.
Describe it to the agent.
Section titled “Describe it to the agent.”Tell the agent what to trade and how long to hold, in plain words: “momentum on BTC, holding for days” is enough to start. It then:
- Writes the strategyThe code appears in the editor on the left.
- Tests itIt runs a backtest over past market data, after fees.
- Reports backReturn, worst drawdown, and what it would try next.
Improve it together.
Section titled “Improve it together.”Ask for what you want changed: fewer trades, different markets, a smaller drawdown. Ask it to run a study and it tries many settings at once and keeps the best. Every version you test is saved, so you can always go back.
You can also edit the code yourself. Compile checks it, Run test backtests it, and Every sets how often the algo makes a decision, from every minute to once a day.
Submit it.
Section titled “Submit it.”When you’re happy, press Submit. PnL runs the launch gate to check the results hold up. If it passes, you name your algo and it goes live for anyone to copy or counter.
From then on you earn a share of the fees paid by the people it makes money for. A live algo can’t be changed; to improve it, launch a new version.
What it costs.
Section titled “What it costs.”Backtests and evaluations use credits, and each button shows its price. Chatting with the agent uses credits too, unless you connect your own AI model. See agent models and credits.
